Raymond Terrace Men's Shed visit Hunter Galvanizing

On Tuesday Hunter Galvanizing were pleased to host a visit from the Raymond Terrace Men's Shed.

16 of the clubs members had a quick induction and were provided with relevant safety PPE before they kicked of the tour of the hot dip galvanizing plant in Tomago. It was a great opportunity for the men to witness the intense galvanizing process in action as they were guided around the plant site.

Today’s visit from the Raymond Terrace Men’s Shed was a huge hit with 16 interested Men’s Shedders asking heaps of questions and showing keen interest in the inner workings of our busy Gal Plant

Sculpture by the Sea 2015

Hunter Galvanizing gets ARTSY

In July 2015 New England based Sculpture James Rogers approached Hunter Galvanizing for sponsorship for his 2015 entry in Sculpture by the Sea.

Sculpture by the Sea is believed to be the largest free to the public outdoor sculpture exhibition in the world, where over 100 sculptures are sited each year along some of Sydney’s most iconic coastline walk from Bondi to Tamarama.

In 2014 an estimated 500,000 visitors from around Australia and overseas attended the exhibition and experienced a diverse range of sculptures and installations at this unique location.

The project titled “Surfer’s Paradise” is James’s entry in the 2015 Sculpture by the Sea and will be placed in a position that will accentuate the various elements that James has used in his work which include the galvanized finish that hi-lite the complex details in the steel.

Hunter Galvanizing was pleased to have been associated with James and wishes him success with this and his future ventures. If you would like more details on James follow this link http://www.jamesrogers.com.au/about.html
