On Tuesday Hunter Galvanizing were pleased to host a visit from the Raymond Terrace Men's Shed.
16 of the clubs members had a quick induction and were provided with relevant safety PPE before they kicked of the tour of the hot dip galvanizing plant in Tomago. It was a great opportunity for the men to witness the intense galvanizing process in action as they were guided around the plant site.
The Raymond Terrace Men’s Shed was formed in 2006 as a non profit organisation. With the aim of improving men's health and as a place that men could meet and contribute back to the community it also provides a safe, friendly, and active environment where men are able to work on meaningful projects at their own pace in their own time in the company of other men.
